Okay, so guys I finished Red Queen last night and it was fantastic! I am truly in love with this series and I want to genuinely know what happens in the series. I find it amazing that there are reds with powers in a world where silvers have all power. I'm really hoping that the scarlet guard wins this war and (spoilers from now on) MAVEN MUST DIE!!!!!!!! To be honest some people thought this was a plot twist. I saw it from a mile away. Mare kept getting told that anyone can betray anyone, but did she listen? NO. Cause Maven was just too perfect. There is no way in a world like this where silvers are clever, cruel, conniving people that he could just be the poster child of goodness. I just couldn't jump on the Maven train. Whoever did not see this coming, have you no suspicion people? I don't know how this was a plot twist. Yes, it was brilliant but it was one of those things that is either really obvious from the start or you were so blind sighted that you didn't see this coming. Anyway, Mare is an awesome character, who sticks up for her morals and beliefs no matter how many lies she tells, lives put at risk, or even her life at risk. Which are good qualities (if you live in this type of world) but she should think a bit more of those who weren't cruel to her. Like Lucas, I was sad when he died. I couldn't take it. I felt horrible! But, I have high expectations for this series and cannot wait for Glass Sword!
