I just finished a book too (Laura Frantz's new one) and will be searching for my next read soon. I might read A Brush with Love by Rachel Hauck next...
So excited to be a part of the team! I plan on starting a book by Tracie Peterson, A Lady of Hidden Intent.
I got home too late last night to think of starting my book. I'll start something tonight for the challenge.
Read Home to Chicory Lane by Deborah Raney
Date Finished: 9/12/15
Rating: 4 Stars
Review:
This contemporary novel is about everyday people making wise and poor choices along life's journey. Home to Chicory Lane focuses on Grant and Audrey and their youngest daughter Landyn and her new husband Chase. Their stories are filled with financial struggles, surprises, power struggles and dreams.
It was an enjoyable read. I look forward to Two Roads Home, the next novel in the Chicory Inn series.
I recommend Home to Chicory Lane for readers that enjoy contemporary fiction.

I just finished my book, The Gifting. Absolutely wonderful. Full of intrigue and action. Loved it!
I'd like piece #31 revealed.
I finished my next book, The Awakening.I loved it. Picks up right where the first left off, and was a surprisingly quick read.
I'd like piece #46 revealed.
I know! I picked up that one because it was free too! Then bought the second. I'll read the third today.
Here's my next book. The Gathering.https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I'd like piece # 35 revealed.
Puzzled updated.
Please next time, if you can, link to either your review or the book. This is so I can verify that the book is long enough. Thanks :)

Read: The Girl from the Train by Irma Joubert
Date Completed: 9/13/15
Rating: 5 Stars
Review:
What I loved most about this novel is the unique way in which Gretl's story unfolds. The Girl from the Train spans over around 15 years from the time Gretl is six to age 21. During this time, Gretl learns to adapt to different environments and changes her identity as needed. This novel is a coming of age story. It is also about overcoming tragedy and resiliency.
There is a great deal of history woven into this novel; history of WWII, Poland and Africa specifically. I was drawn to turn the pages quicky to know what was next for Gretl and Jakob as they brought history to life.
The Girl from the Train is highly recommended for readers of historical fiction.

Team, I think the book might be...
Always Watching by Lynette Eason
Staci or Dawn - if either of you agree, one of you should put in the guess, since the two of you requested the pieces.
Rita, please make the guess. We all contribute. I'd like to suggest when any team member has a guess that they post it without asking other team members. There is no penalty for an incorrect guess!
I've finished my next book.

Staci, I disagree and I'll explain why, After you finish a book and request the removal of a puzzle piece, only one guess is allowed. In order to make another guess, another book has to be read first.
If I completed a book and requested the removal of a piece, and while I'm actively looking for the book, thinking I may have found it, another team member (who hasn't requested a piece yet) guesses incorrectly, I lose my chance to guess on that clue.
Staci, to my knowledge the rules are the same as they were the last round.
Each team will receive a puzzle that they will solve by removing pieces. The way to remove a piece is by reading a book. Once a book is read and reviewed (post the review in your team's thread), you may then select one of the pieces to be removed. If you think you know what the book cover is, make a guess. You get one guess at the puzzle for each book read. Guesses may be saved until future pieces are removed; but once the puzzle is solved, the guesses will be reset. As an added bonus, any book read that has 500+ pages allows you to remove TWO pieces from the puzzle.

Read: Gods and Kings by Lynn Austin
Date Completed: 9/17/15
Rating: 4 stars
Review:
Gods and Kings is the first of a Biblical Fiction series. Its focus is King Hezekiah from the time he was a young boy to when his reign begins at age 25.
While I very much enjoyed all the history, I was not fully engaged in the story. Overall,it was a good novel and one I'd recommend to readers who enjoy Biblical Fiction. I do plan to continue reading the series.

What we've revealed so far looks like part of a house. I think we need to ask for pieces between 1-21 to hopefully get some letters in the title/author. I'll be finished with my book hopefully around lunchtime today.
