Skye made her way to Hagrid's and stopped near the corral out back before looking around curiously, she wondered what kinds of animals would be introduced in the class.


Hagrid walked outside and saw the second year and smiled a bit.

Ayden walked down to Hagrid's hut, she had sent her family's owl off with her letter and was now looking for something to do.

Jericho pawed at the ground with his hoof before fluttering his wings, he and Sunset were near the Forest behind Hagrid's Cabin, he let out a neigh and shook out his mane.

Skye heard the neigh and followed the sound.

"Woah, hey don't go back there, tha's a surprise for class tha' is" Hagrid said.

Ayden stopped by the hut, knocking at the door. In her past 3 years she had become pretty good friends with Hagrid.

"Overe here" he called out to Ayden keeping an eye on Skye.

Ayden jogged over to where Skye and Hagrid were "Hey Hagrid, hey...uh Skye right?" Ayden asked, faintly remembering Skye from the sorting at the start of last year.

"Yeah, I wanna see" Skye said stubbornly nodding to Ayden.

Ayden chuckled a little.

"Not till class" Hagrid said looking away

"So how are you Hagrid?" Ayden asked.

"I'm good, a few of my new animals are challenging," Hagrid said.

"Awe, well I know you and they'll listen to you in no time" Ayden said.
