Hogwarts [ The Old Generation ] discussion

Kira was sitting on the floor of the common room, two stacks of paper in front of her. She sighed softly.

"A little overwhelmed?" Scott asked walking into the commmenroom from the lake.

Kira jumped, hearing a voice in the quiet room. She turned to see who it was. "No. Not really." She shrugged, smiling faintly when she saw Scott

"You sure look like it." He said chuckling and sitting down in a chair looking at her.

"That stuff is my homework." Kira pointed at one pile. "I just need to read through this stuff." She said, nodding at the other pile.

"Overwhelmed." He said again.

"No. This isn't overwhelming to me. All my homework is done. I just haven't gone to put it away." Kira answered. "You seem happier.." She said softly.

"I've started seeing someone." He told her smiling.

"Good.." Kira said softly with a smile. She took a page off the top of the pile she had to read through and started reading it, spinning a quill between her fingers.

"How is Nico?" He asked.

"Good I guess." Kira shrugged. She turned so she was facing him, still reading.

"Something wrong?" He asked her.

"No. Not that I know of.." She shrugged.

"You seem a bit, off," he said.

"how so?" Kira asked, dipping a quill in ink and writing something on the page.

"Not as talkative as usual." He said.

"Okay.." Kira nodded. "I just don't have much to say."

"Do you want me to leave?"

"No. You're fine.." Kira shrugged. She bit her lip and looked up at him, running a hand through her hair.

"Are you sure there's nothing you want to discuss you look very worried."

"I do?" Kira asked. She yawned softly, setting down the paper.

He nodded. "You do."

"Hmmm.. I'm not worried about anything though.." She shrugged.

He shrugged and closed his eyes.

Kira gathered and stacked up all her papers.

He sighed softly and stood up.

Kira looked up at him, closing her bottle of ink.

"Listen you don't have to talk to me I get that you probably won't but just know I'm here for you."

"I know that. There's nothing really that I have to talk about though.." She said softly.

He nodded and sighed returning I his chair.

"I'll be back." Kira stood. She went and put the papers in her room and came back.

"Any drama in your life?" He asked.

"No. Not really.." Kira shrugged, sitting in a chair across from him.

"Not much here either, expect for ryan." He said smiling at the metion of his name.

Kira smiled when he smiled. "That's good though. So it doesn't count as drama."

"No but I am happy about it." He said.

"That's all that matters, you and him being happy." Kira said softly.

"Thank you." He said smiling.

Kira smiled softly back.

"Anyone catch your eyes?" He asked.

"No." Kira sighed softly. She shrugged.

"Are you sure?" He asked smirking slightly.

"Yeah. I'm pretty sure." Kira nodded

"Well I know of someone who likes you." He told her.

Kira looked surprised. "Really. And who would that be? Akiva..?" She muttered sarcastically.

"His name is Mack Schmidt or something like that." He said.

"Hmm..." She bit her lip, trying to figure out who it was.

"I thinks he's a Slytherian acutally." He said.

"Okay." Kira shrugged. She didn't really talk to a lot of people so she didn't know who he was.
