The Last Lecture discussion

"The Last Lecture" is written by Randy Pausch and Jeffry Zalzow. It is an autobiography about Randy ,a professor, who found out that he has terminal cancer in his liver and only has months to live his life the best he can with his wife Jai and his three kids. By telling stories of his past and present , he gives valuable life lessons on ways to live better and be more satisfied! I would recommend this took to anyone who wants a great book to read ,with many heart wrenching stories, that can help you with many trials that you will or have faced!

I believe this book would make for a lively discussion with high school students (Juniors and Seniors).
When death occurs to some one we know whether its the neighbor next door or a parent, sibling, spouse,etc., we face our own mortality. This book gives us a way to deal with the ultimate reality.
