Memoir Authors discussion

Have just joined the group. I've self-published two books, one a memoir. It concerns my experiences in law enforcement aviation. Presently exploring the Goodreads website to meet others with similar interests, or others period. All advice welcome. "Be quiet" is hopefully not an option! I’m new here as well. I’ve been working on a memoir focused on quieter aspects of life—family, work, and how small everyday moments shape things over time.

Still learning how to share and connect with readers, but glad to be here.

My memoir, The native Daughter, is now available for free on Kindle Unlimited. The book is set in colonial Kenya in the 1950s; it primarily focuses on the lives of peasant farmworkers whose stories never appear in books. The reader follows the girl, the main character, as she weaves through the changes and dynamics of her community. Check it out.
