This is where authors and readers can post news without flooding the library with ads.

Please, authors, absolutely, strictly, no spamming. If you have an event, create a new topic under The Bulletin Board. Post it once here for readers to see what is happening within the community.

The primary appeal of the Book Shelf is the Public Library approach. If you can't/wouldn't do it at your public library, it isn't permitted here.

POSTING FORMAT:

I can not emphasize the importance of the "End Date" enough. Please post at the top of each offer, the date I can close and archive your event. If you have something on-going, state "on-going". If you are uncertain of the EXACT end date, leave a link, so I can check on the status. Please do not post and forget. Check up on your post.

NOTE:

Please do not "piggy back" off of other threads. Each event/author gets one thread. This allows me to archive expired events.

If you have a re-occurring event, post it only once and specify that the event is "every Friday" or "every 1st of the month"... or whenever... Events under this category will not be locked and archived.

ALL EVENTS WILL BE CLOSED AND ARCHIVED ONCE THEY EXPIRE TO AVOID OVERCROWDING. This will be done at the start of each month.
