Serena discussion

kay, I read this book a year or so ago, and watched the movie. I was looking up some of the big differences between the two and started reading things about Serena poisoning George... This blew my mind because for some reason I had something else entirely in my head about the ending. I remember the ending being George being chased, or going out hunting or something, and Galloway finds him, beats him up, he is bitten by a snake or something and left for dead. Then, when she is in Brazil it turns out he actually survived, and waited to find her then he killed her. I never read anything about it being Jacob! Wasn't George bitten by a snake though??

From what I remember, it is never stated directly that it was Jacob. They mentioned something at the beginning of the chapter (I believe) about Rachel being in a nursing home and I guess she told Jacob the story of his father's murder, and he finally managed to hunt Serena down. I remember something about Galloway ( who had been acting as Serena's body guard) being killed, and after his death, Jacob was finally able to kill Serena. I do believe George died in the woods after he is attacked by Galloway and then bitten, but I can't recall specifics.
