In This House of Brede was turned into a TV movie starring Diana Riggs in 1975. The book was originally published in 1969. It's the story of a successful businesswoman who enters a Benedictine abbey when she's in her forties. There are lots of details about monastic life. I enjoyed it and gave it four stars. Now I want to see the movie!
