books turned into films discussion

There are a couple of books I'm considering getting but I'm not sure if I should GET it or borrow it from the library. So, I thought I'd start a topic on books that you recommend!
So, has anyone read, and would recommend getting or borrowing, Fablehaven and the Magyk-Septimus Heap series?? These books look like good fantasy books, but maybe they aren't? Let me know.

okay what about THE IMMORTALS SERIES... and any other supernatural/vampire related books that you would reccomend?

I'm not sure about that one. I liked evermore and will definitley read the next one-Blue Moon. But I am on the fence about buying it. I would say read Evermore and judge for yourself. If its a book you see yourself reading again and again-buy it!

Mortal instruments is a MUST buy! It has to do with modern day warriors that fight evil but has an intense love story woven in. Awesome! The Immortals has to do with a girl who loses her whole family and discovers she is an immortal. Also has a decent love story and is a pretty good read, although nothing as good as the Mortal Instruments! I also recommend the Hunger Games-another must own!

okay thanks... what about the house of glass series, sookie stackhouse, anita blake, or succubus series??
