Cosy as it is with its plush furniture and a nice fireplace, Uriena's flat is useful for another reason too. It has numerous scientific instruments and workspaces designed for science experiments. The flat itself is located in a skyscraper a few blocks away from the one containing the family business, the Soul and the Dragon.

Flynn was not thrilled at now having to wait for Uri to change. Uri might deny it to the end of her days, but she was a bit of a fashionista. Flynn couldn't really deny the same about herself without being a hypocrite, but she generally dressed decently in the mornings and everyone else could deal with what she'd chosen for the day, smelly or no. She'd ordered and gotten the food, just a bit of broccoli cheddar soup from the bakery. Finally, Uri came out of her flat, and Flynn had to make a serious effort not to let her jaw drop in awe.

Flynn shook her head, still stunned by how pretty Uri was in the dress. Seriously, she looked like a model she was so pretty. Flynn was definitely not gaping. Nope, not one bit. "Definitely not too long. You look great." Flynn grinned at Uri. "I got the food, so Sapphire Park unless you'd rather go somewhere else. I wouldn't mind somewhere else so long as I'm with you." She blushed and clapped a hand over her mouth as soon as she realized exactly how romantic what she said sounded. Her face matched her hair. "Right, uh, yeah. So . . . where do you want to go?"

Flynn blushed and looked down at her feet. Uri's words made her very, very happy. Made her feel very, very special. Before she could think the better of it, the words slipped out of her mouth quickly as if trying not to have their passage blocked. "It'sadate." She sucked in a breath immediately after and stared down at her feet. It took a moment for her to look up at Uri, smiling nervously at the other woman.

Flynn blushed a bit more and bit her lips before she attempted a more neutral countenance. She failed miserable. A grin spread across her visage. She stretched out her hand for Uriena to take, hardly able to believe that this was actually happening. It had been years since they'd met, and it was finally happening. Slightly breathlessly, she answered, "Of course you can hold my hand!"

Flynn smiled a little wider and ducked her dead so she was looking at the ground. Her cheeks were definitely aflame. Finally, she managed, "Thanks. I like your smile, too. So, if we're getting to the park before sunset, I think we ought to hurry, yeah?" She didn't even notice the circles she was rubbing on the back of Uri's hand absently. It was just natural.

Flynn put her other hand on Uri's back and gently spun her to the left, which was the direction the park was actually in. She found Uri's going the wrong way rather adorable. Flynn, fortunately, did know her own way around, so they weren't about to get lost. The perks of being police, she supposed. "So, this makes us girlfriends then?" It was an exciting thought, and it felt more than a surreal with how long she had hoped for that.
