Ash walked into the library, still exploring the campus while she waited for her schedule. She was a new girl here, still not even having met her sister. The nerves were bubbling beneath her skin, as she felt especially nervous about meeting a girl she hadn't known for 14 years. A lot can change in a person after 14 years. So she decided to try and calm down by going to check out the library. At least, it seemed like a library. Walking down one of the isles, she ran her fingers over the bridges of the books along the shelves. She had a favourite, and she was looking for it. "Fried, Froissart... Ah here it is, Frost. Robert Frost." She said to herself, pulling a book off of it and looking over it with satisfaction. Robert Frost was her favourite poet, and all his work seemed to make her smile.
((It might me short but I'm eating... Sorry lol.)))
Mason was sitting in a nearby table. He was reading on of the history books. His head was rested on his hand as he read the book. After some time ago he had fallen asleep and he started to snore. It was surprising that no one had woken him up yet.

((It's fine :))
Ash jumped a little when she heard a loud snore, and it seemed dawned on her that it was only an isle away. So she got up and walked over to the sleeping form of Mason, who was unknown to her at the moment. Gently, she reached out her hand to shake his shoulder softly. "Umm... Excuse me?" She asked softly, looking down at the strange boy that she tried to wake. She felt a little shy, but if she didn't wake him up he might have gotten in trouble.

"Uhhh." He moaned and grabbed the girls hand and rolled over in his sleep. "So... Tired..." He mumbled in his sleep. His mouth open and his hair a mess.
Ash jumped a little when he grabbed her hand, slowly pulling it out of his grasp. The girl couldn't help but think the boy looked cute while sleeping... But she'd just gotten here and couldn't get a crush this early, right? She didn't even know his name. "Wake up sleepy head." She grinned, gently putting her hand back on his shoulder to shake him a little more.
"Wha-" he opened his eyes sleepily and looked up at the blurry figure. "Wha- what time is it?" He asked rubbing his eyes. He had been studying all night and he had to take a test in the morning.
Ash looked down at her watch, moving her hand from his shoulder. Her long auburn hair got in the way, blocking her vision from the little watch on her wrist. So she brushed it behind her ear and read it aloud. "About... 7:00 PM." She told him, knowing the school ran on a nocturnal schedule. Morning was when the moon came up, and night was when the sun rose. So basically, she was there early in the morning. The girl was still waiting to get her schedule, curious as to what this boy's name was.
"Oh god. I didn't get any sleep." He groaned and put his head on the table, letting it thud beneath him. "I have to take a test in two hours." He mumbled against the wood.
Ash grinned at his behaviour, leaning on the table a little as she still held the Robert Frost book in her hands. "Well... If you need help, I can study with you?" She suggested. "I'm Ashlyn by the way, Lissa's sister... But just call me Ash." She told him and set the book down to reach out to shake his hand.
"You don't mean Lisa Dragomire do you? She's not here. They ran away, her an Rose Hathaway." He pulled out a chair for her without thinking. He fixed the papers and books on the table.
Ash's eyes went wide, showing that she indeed had the same jade-green eyes as Lissa. "Y-Yeah, I mean Vasilisa Dragomir... She ran away? Nobody told me about this..." She said and looked down as she slowly moved in to sit next to him, processing it all as she worried for her sister. Sure, they hadn't met in 14 years, but she still cared for her.
"They just ran off. Actually I think one of our guardians found her and are bringing her back now. Though its only a rumor." He shrugged and rubbed his eyes again. "So do you know anything about Moroi culture? I'm totally oblivious to it." He shook his head as he looked at the book. His vision was still blurry.
Ash hoped for the rumour to be true, worrying for her sister. Though she tried to get her mind off of it. "Um... Yeah, I actually got an A in that class in my old school. Then again, I got A's in all my classes... They were pretty strict.. Is that what you need help with?" She asked him and leaned onto the table a bit.
"Yea I... Wait I'm so stupid." He turned to her and was almost shocked by how pretty she was. He gulped and stool out his hand to her. "I'm Mason Ashford." His eyes locked onto hers.
Ash smiled at him, reaching out to gently shake his hand as she looked into his eyes. The boy, whom she'd just found to be called Mason, was rather cute actually. "I'm Ashlyn Dragomir. It's a pleasure to meet you." She said with a smile as she shook his hand.
He smiled an looked at her for a moment before shaking his head and turning back to the books. "But as I was saying. I really need help with it."
Ash looked at he books briefly, "Well, there's a lot to Moroi culture, what parts do you need help with?" She asked and folded her arms on the table as she looked at him with observant jade-green eyes.
"Well to be honest I don't know pretty much any of it. What about the royals? I need to get to know how they act for when I'm a guardian anyways." He shrugged and then looked back at her.
Ash giggled a bit at his comment, "Well... Hmm, where should we start? How about, it's forbidden for a Moroi to use their magic to hurt others. Most royals act pretty uptight at times, because they have a lot to worry about. But some can be pretty nice and are usually responsible. It depends on them, it varies in all people." She said.
"Well I knew that try like to act like their know it alls but I mean about stuff that not a lot of people know." He told her he was writing this stuff on a piece of paper.
Ash started to list off a few things, things that she'd been taught about in her last school. Since he was a novice, he didn't take the same classes as her for the first few hours of the day, so a lot of these things would probably be new to him. After she'd named off the basics, she smiled. "That should cover the basics. Anything else you need help with?"
"That's pretty much it. I figure it's a novk off of that for regular Moroi." He shrugged. He looked at the list and smiled. He was going to get a good grade on this test. He stopped smiling when his stomach growled really loudly. "Uh... I didn't have breakfast yet." E smiled and laughed.
Ash thought about the normal food Dhampir's ate, while Moroi basically lived off of blood. "You should probably grab something to eat. I ate before I got here, but I could accompany you if you like? I'd hate to be a bother."
"You can come with me, I don't mind." He shrugged and put some of the books back. And stood up. "Ready?" He asked.
Ash nodded as she put away her Robert Frost book, anointing him again as she stood up. "Yep." She said and smiled faintly. She enjoyed being in his company.
"Okay, but would you mind to go by my room first? I have to put my notes away." He asked her picking up the said notes. ((Ill brb I have to make the places and I'm almost at my house...))
