i usually buy from liberty but liberty has limited collection so i order books from grace books on fb (they get it from amazon) apart from that im more of an ebook person :)
every sunday morning there is a Book Bazar at Frierr garden.Well tere you can also find some rare books
check out 786cart.com, that's also pretty cool too. And those are pretty much my spots too, frere hall, the second hand book stalls on university road, and then readings.com, kitabain.com or liberty.com.
well there are few stalls and a shop at Minabazar Karachi also so check out. If any other then let us know as well. Keep Reading
Thank you all for the helpful suggestions. After going through all the above I have made a list as follows for the best places to buy books (best first)1) Sunday Bazar
2) Readings Website (Excellent prices and delivery)
3) Oldbook stalls near Bait ul Mukaram (There are 3 stalls which are haven for fiction lovers like me)
4) Kitabain.com
5) Liberty (with Book club card)
check main urdu bazar, near to radio Pakistan as well, other options are pearson and paramount book stores at Tariq road, academic books and novels or other books are also available there
Thanks Sana. Main Urdu Bazar for fiction or academic books? I've been to Paramount and never miss their annual book fair. However I don't know where Pearson is. Perhaps you can guide me.
Its famous for academic books though but if u search a bit, u will find wonderful collection of fiction, literature and novels etc. For Pearson i would suggest u to get the address from internet or some where as i have been there only once long time back and unfortunately couldn't recall the exact address
Also, if u have been to hydri market, there are always some book stalls in the back lane of main hydri market (and on the service lane of saima paari maal as well), dnt knw how effective they are but they do posses large number of old books on each stall
S A book corner at Urdu bazar..Old books collection at boat basin and khadda market..
Sunday bazar is the best !!
As-salaam-o-alaikum:There are so many options like:
For buying: oup.com.pk
liberty books, 786 cart, TCS connect too.
Main Urdu Bazaar (Umar Books), Welcome books, old book market in hyderi, saddar sunday market near regal chawk, frere hall saddar, gulsahn-e-iqbal near Baitil-muqarram masjid etc.
For rent books:
best option is thereadersclub.com
was-salaam.

I normally look for the old books first at Sunday Bazar or the ones on University Road. Second option is Kitabain.com and last comes Liberty.
