So many people feel love.

It's a popular emotion. Sometimes confused, often refused, mostly abused... but never ever been excused.

Love is also an acronym. One that nobody shared with the world, because God has a sense of humor we cannot fathom.

Lavishly Over Venerated Existence

When that was revealed, just before the Earth was thought up, the first and most beautiful angel, Lucifer, raised his finger and said, "But um, can't it also mean Lust Of Virtually Everything?"

Thus Hell was created and the human race has been royally screwed since then.

To set aside theology or the pretenses of fake wisdom, love is one of nature's most beautiful emotions. Yet, it has also been the very thing that has caused bloody wars where people slaughtered each other to the bitter end. (Helen of Troy, anyone?)

For the light, or for the dark, even the most abysmal monsters of the wild will love their children.

Especially with the right amount of salt and pepper.

I think it's fairly likely that the real-life Trojan War, whatever the pretext, was really about the Trojans' control of trading vessels passing through the Bosporus.

Oh my God.

Yes, I wrote that, fueled by my famous mudslide. That is 1 ounce of 8 different cheap types of whiskey. Expensive stuff is not allowed. That is 8 ounces, mixed with two packets of Swiss Miss hot cocoa.

Down the hatch in a ten minute window.

Mudslide.

Now I have to go and open all my works in progress and hope I didn't royally pew the scrootch.

Hmmm... In my day a Mudslide was Kahula, Bailey's Irish Cream and vodka in a shot glass. You could warm it up by lighting the vodka.

Lost a couple weekends to the mudslide. Hope I had fun.
