can i skip the second book?!

I don't like reading the same book from two POVs so I usually just choose to read from one person's POV (either the guy's or the girl's). Would it be better to read the first book or the second, Ellery's POV or Connor's POV?? I'm going to read the 3rd book after, so which would make me less "lost"?

It's almost a duplicate. Got bored half way through. Was really hard to finish. So YES, skip this book. Sawyer Bennett has the best male POV follow up that I have read so far. Legal Affairs - Confessions of a Litigation God, is entertaining and provides new insight about both characters.
Even though it was a very similar book, it was nice to know what Connor was thinking and doing in certain scenes.
this is one of my favorite series. yes, the second book has almost the same as the 1st book . still has many added things from his life. it's a must read if your going to read this series. 3rd book is wonderful.
