Umm what is the cat party

The Cat Party is when we all come and create cats, RP them, make profiles for cats already listed and not created, invite new members and just go crazy! I will be Modding for this.:)

And has Jaystar been taken? If not, I could make him like my other cat, Bloodstar. ((Blood is usually in the Dark Forest.))

I'm curious about why you are allowing Moon and Star(or rather starry) as okay prefixes? I could understand being lenient on sun prefixes, but moon?


The moon, sun, and stars are sacred to the cats. These objects--or variations of the objects--are not to be used in names.

Examples of unacceptable names:

Moonfur
Sunclaw
Starkit

1a) This also applies to names that expand on the above:

Lunarfur
Solarclaw
Eclipseheart
Crescentpelt



This is information from my advanced warrior cat group. Moonflower (Bluestars mother and the ONLY case of Moon as a prefix) was originally supposed to be Morningflower but one of the Erins thought it to canon and since there was also already a Morningflower in WindClan they changed it at the last minute to Moon.

But that's the only recorded case of using Moon as a prefix because Moon is a forbidden prefix.

All naming rules are different in every Warriors RP groups.

And there was a cat with the Sun prefix and I doubt it was last minute thingie. Sunstrike of WindClan.

But every group donesn't need to have name rules.

I know I did mention that sun has been exempted before.

and until now when I joined this group I have yet to be in a warriors group that allowed Moon and star as prefixes, and I've been in a total of 500 groups since I joined goodreads in 2004, almost all of which were warriors groups.


I was asking Scrabble who decided that it would be okay to use such prefixes, why they decided they were okay. I'm curious for the reasoning behind it.

500... O.O That's a lot of groups...my Mum is already wondering how I can keep up with 90+ groups. XD

It is. That's why I'm curious as to the reasoning behind the moon and star prefixes being okay now after so many other groups say no.

I allow Starry, Sea, Moon, Sun and Ocean. I don't know why. I just like that.

I would say that if you can be active and are good at creating them, you don't need a limit.

SC cat creations? Oh, that's frozen from new creations. You see, we need to get activity in EC and RC up before we let people make new cats in SC. But, if you have adopted a cat, I will unfreeze it so you can make the cat. So, if you are creating a cat you adopted go ahead and make the cat, if not... Aw forget it I'm going to unfreeze it so you can make the cat anyway!
