Do twins begin in the womb?
Or in a better place?

Kaeleigh and Raeanne are identical down to the dimple. As daughters of a district-court judge father and a politician mother, they are an all-American family -- on the surface. Behind the facade each sister has her own dark secret, and that's where their differences begin.

For Kaeleigh, she's the misplaced focus of Daddy's love, intended for a mother whose presence on the campaign trail means absence at home. All that Raeanne sees is Daddy playing a game of favorites -- and she is losing. If she has to lose, she will do it on her own terms, so she chooses drugs, alcohol, and sex.

Secrets like the ones the twins are harboring are not meant to be kept -- from each other or anyone else. Pretty soon it's obvious that neither sister can handle it alone, and one sister must step up to save the other, but the question is -- who?

I have been reading I'm on page 64 atm.

So far I'm just getting a feel for the characters. I have some doubts to where this story could lead. I'm already starting to for shadow what might happen.

Some parts in this book like when

(view spoiler)[ the one twin watches her sister get oral from their father, I felt like crying and sick at the same time. It was hard to read pass that page but I did. This book is getting better and more enthralling as I read on. It's sad and disgusting but I can't stop reading it. (hide spoiler)]

I feel for Raeanne because

(view spoiler)[ living a life full of drugs and sex to strive for the attention you crave will only lead to death in my eyes. I have an emotional connection with this character because I have known a lot of best friends and good friends that have lived this life style and a few have overdosed. <\spoiler>

I really hope she finds her way out of this situation. She needs her sister more then anyone. (hide spoiler)]

oh my heavens the ending was exactly what I for shadowed. It was a good book but I hate that I knew how it was going to end.

Btw if you suffer from PTSD like me...this book might bring upon symptoms...I just cried that's about it.

Yes I put it in the depressing book folder on my page. Its a good book though.
