I am Rajalakshmi. I have recently self published my first book titled Silence Under The Blue Sky. It is a Contemporary Reality Fiction because it attempts to bring out the pain that a family in Indian Air Force (IAF) undergoes when one of their member, an IAF pilot, dies in a crash.

It is a true story which has been fictinalised to protect the identity of all serving Air Warriors. The story is set against the backdrop of the mid-air collision of two Mi-17 helicopters that took place on 30 Aug 2012 at Jamnagar.

My intent is to try and spread the story to as many people in the civil street as possible, that even women in the armed forces have their share of pain, loss and grief. If you find flaws and mistakes, please do let me know. I am ever willing to learn and improve.
