Two new books for October... I did not give a 5 star this September!

What about you? Did you read any gems?

I've just finished reading 'The Martian' and I have to say its one of the best books I've read in ages. I've given it 5 stars and would recommend it to anyone. Don't be put off by the subject matter or the science that's in the book, it works very well. I'll be interested to see what the film is like, has anyone seen it?

In between doctor & hospital visits I am trying to finish up Blade of the Destroyer: The Last Bucelarii: Book 1 by Andy Peloquin. I am not sure it will be a five star book, but it's definitely a solid 3 and most likely a 4 (once I complete it and finish my critical critique) this month. I haven't had a lot of time being sick this past month.
