And I was able to change the group pictures for January 2016 on my kindle... the dog is mine - Peanut with her raincoat. The cat is just something random found on Google search Cats and rain.
Michelle, can you please explain the challenge on the first page of our group where it says to "put in the number of books for this challenge" and "enter the shelf name" then it says "save." I'm just not sure what that is, and I don't know exactly what the shelf name would be. I see it's monthly & I love your challenges and I like to challenge myself. So, I like to participate whenever I can :)Sorry, I'm just a little confused :/

When you move a book to your "read" shelf, dated as finished this month, it automatically gets counted.
I'm relieved there's some way to count the books...I liked the annual count on Shelfari. Now, at least I only need to count up all the months.

Thanks for the explanation. I may try that this month and see if I can figure it out ;)

I entered "Read" for the shelf name and it shows in red "User shelf not entered." What does that mean? Do I need to put "Terris Read" or something like that?

Sorry, Terri... I thought I remembered and could help (I'm pretty sure it was just "read"), but MICHELLE, you'll have to answer Terri's question!
Oh --I think it might need to be all lowercase (read, not Read).
Well first, the challenge on the main page is separate than the other challenges.
Here's what our group has individually challenged themselves to so far:
https://www.goodreads.com/challenges/...
If you'd like to try this enter your goal # of how many books you'd like to read within a month. And then, in LOWER CASE letters, write read. Make sure it's all in lower cases because that's the name of the "shelf".
For those that want this more challenging, "tag" your book to whatever you want (audiobook, etc) and then in lower cases enter that tag name in our challenge.
