Kayla Read (k_laread) | 21 comments I began reading this about a week ago and I'm about 40% complete. I suppose this is a halfway through review!

I like the different perspectives typically found in romance novels, especially between main characters and their antagonists.

That doesn't mean I like the antagonist. He's like a sugar daddy for young boys, trying to convince them to join his cult of heartless disciples with movie and laser tag dates.

While I think it's hilarious the main characters are named Wrath, Vishous, Tohrment, Rhage, Zsadist, and Phury, I try to keep a straight face. It's a popular paranormal romance - what else can I expect?! BUT THEIR PHYSICAL DESCRIPTIONS!

Since this book is primarily Wrath-oriented, we'll take a gander at him!

At one point, Beth, our gorgeous black hair super model of a heroine, describes his legs the size of her torso! That is intimidating! That is scary! That is proportionately weird.

It has come to my attention Jason Momoa is a close representation of Wrath. You know, the dothraki horse lord on Game of Thrones. Oh my... No wonder every time Beth touches Wrath she instantly wants sex! (But is she as loose as throwing a hotdog down a hallway for regular men? - cause she doesn't seem to have ANY problems with his proportionate jackhammer of a member.)

Other than those silly factors, the story itself isn't terrible. I'm especially pleased with the age of vampire transition. Lately, I've been noticing heroines are ranging between 16-18. Transitioning at 25 inspires hope my mundane life will drastically change to a paranormal romance novel!

Best description ever, really made me laugh.

Goodness those names, they are truly awful but that is what I've come to expect with trashy romance novels. I think I would be disappointed otherwise.

Kayla Read (k_laread) | 21 comments It's true! I had to research how to spell the names and it turns out in the later books, more get added! I'm excited to tell you all about them. Their names are just as ridiculous!
