This weeks topic is Symbols. Symbols are used to represent something to one or many but not all people. When Emily sees the cell phone on the table she immediately is devastated. I believe that the cell phone resembles loneliness. To Emily as soon a she saw it she knew Sam was gone and that she would be alone.
