Rainpaw woke up with a yawn

"sorrrry" she said with a hint of amusment in her mew

"no, remember the battle last night? Emberpool and Bluebell said that we had to lay in our nests for today" she said

"because I want to be" she said avoiding her gaze

"stop following me!!!"she growled

"listen, if I wanted you to know I would have told you" she hissed

later that day, "sorry" she said as laid in her nest and saw autumnpaw sitting in her nest " I was just mad cause I thought you didn't trust me"

"whatever" she said as she playfully pawd her

" I don't know" she said

suddenly emberpool came in. "stop complaining! petalstar said that all apprentices can take the day off" she growled

" I don't know! she has been acting really weird lately" she said with wide blue eyes

"I danno, she has been eating ALOT MORE freshkill lately" she said quitly

" I wonder if their expecting kits?"she said gazing into the disence

"ya, lets go" she said getting up and padding toward the entence." you coming?"

" there they are" she said happily

"Fine, whatever. lets get it over with then." she hissed

leafpelt started chasing emberpool to up a tree "stop it" she said playfully growling, suddenly she got up and said" i hear something" she located the sound as the bush where the two apprentices were hiding.She gave a mighty leap over bush with her swollen belly swinging "what are you doing" she growled " nothing" said rainpaw avoiding her mentors gaze

"yes, Rainpaw what are you doing?" she said glaring at the frightend apprentice. "Nothing" snareled Rainpaw

"Should we tell them?" said emberpool looking at her mate. "I believe it would be the right thing to do" said leafpelt. "Ok, Rainpaw, I am expecting kits" she said looking at Rainpaw.

"How did you know?" emberpool said shocked. "How long before you have them?" said rainpaw ignoring the question "A halfmoon" emberpool replied.
