I love this series! I don't know if I have time to re-read it this month, but maybe I will try. ;)

I haven't read this series but I liked Unwind. Didn't realize Unwind was a series of three books.

Four books, actually! I still need to read books 3 and 4. :)

Squee! I just read part of your review of Unwholly and now I have to do a re-read of Unwind so I can read it.

Everlost sounds very interesting. Adding to the TBR list!

Ashley Marie Oh excellent, I will do my best to squeeze this in! The Unwind series was phenomenal <3

Karen’s Library | 574 comments Everlost was one of the most unique storylines I've ever read! This author has a truly bizarre brain! Love him!

You too, B! I thought Undivided was a fantastic ending (and Unsouled was creepy-awesome too)

Yes, I know! I think I need to re-read the first two books though because it's been a while. :P

Kristine’s Books I have a feeling that I read this book for some weird reason, but I just don't remember. I know I've heard of it, well might as well try to get my hand on it.

Hi guys! I did not realize it's October already. So excited to reread this. And yes please read the rest of the Unwind series too.

Kristine’s Books I have so many series to finish! I get easily distracted with all these new books being released. I might get around to finishing Unwind next year.

Is he done with the series?

Technically the series is finished, but he's releasing a collection of short stories called UnBound in December, as an epilogue from what I can tell.

Becky (bek11) | 451 comments I started Everlost this week. Still trying to get a feel for the characters. It seems like one crazy world that the author is building.

David Estes (davidestesbooks) | 836 comments I love love love this series!!! One of my favorites, so unique and hilarious and weird. Shusterman is SO GOOD. Enjoy!!

Ashley Marie I'm intrigued but extremely cautious right now. Two nights ago I had something of an existential crisis regarding death -- the short story is I wound up sobbing and hyperventilating thanks to the guaranteed knowledge that I will one day cease to exist -- so hopefully this isn't too rocky for me.

Deep thoughts there Ashley! I think you will be ok with this one. :)

Ashley Marie It was bad, took me hours to fall asleep. And this isn't the first time it's happened. It always paralyzes me.

Do you have a "Highly Sensitive Personality"? Ashley? My best friend has one and she can't shut her brain off. I have some of the same symptoms because I have too much empathy sometimes but am nowhere near the level of my friend. It is the reason I had to stop volunteering at the animal shelter because my heart literally hurt to see all those unwanted animals. It is a real thing - look it up if you haven't heard of it.

Ashley Marie Interesting. Most likely yes, I was diagnosed with general anxiety a few years ago but that sounds very accurate.

Look it up seriously Ashley. I heard about in the book Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking and told my friend about it and she fits it 100% and was glad to know why she thought the way she does and bought a few books on it. Her 6 year old son as it as well. He is super empathetic for his age and very sensitive.

I'm sorry Ashley. :( I also suffer from GAD and panic attacks and I have existential crises like that quite often––and bad insomnia as a result. That said, I do really love these books and didn't find them too panic-inducing, although that's just my personal experience with them. I also second Heidi's recommendation of Quiet; that book really changed my life and the way I view myself, and it helped me to realize that I am not as crazy as I thought I was. :P
