Time to start throwing your hat...er, book in the ring. What book would you like to see in the poll for the November 2015 group read?

What say you? What's next folks?

Once we have a decent number, we can throw a poll up. What do you think? Once we reach 10? More? Less?

I would like to nominate The Darkness That Comes Before. Been on my to-read for a while, just got my hands on a copy recently.

I think 10 is maybe a little too many, five maybe?

Levi (levi66) | 44 comments I'll nominate Gardens of the Moon. I need some motivation to start that series.

Mark | 113 comments Darkness Weaves one of the first grimdark heros. First published in 1970, same year I was born.

Me too! (Born in 1970 that is).

But why suggest a book that is #7 in a series? Is it one of those "order not important" type of series?

I will second Tracey's suggestion. It's been on my shelf too long, but I keep getting sidetracked by... more or less everything and anything.

It dosent matter what order you read them. But that was the first one published.

Silvana (silvaubrey) I'm just going to throw this again: The God's War by Kameron Hurley.

I'll second Low Town.

Low Town for me also. I just read the short story A Drink Before We Die: A Low Town Short before it and I am intrigued.

message 11: by Kieron (new)

Kieron I am happy to go with Low Town also. It's been on my TBR list and this will give me an excuse to start it. Only problem for me is as soon as I finish up one series I seem to start a couple more.

I'm pretty sure I start two or three series for every one I actually finish. It is pathetic.

I'd say it's time for a poll. Can somebody get a poll up with these books?

If not, I'll try to do it as soon as I have the time.

Poll's up, I think I've done it right. (Hopefully)

message 15: by Heather (new)

Heather (bruyere) Only one of these books has over a 4 rating. This worries me.

Thanks Tracey.

I can't see a way to edit it, but can you try to put spaces between book title and author. Right now they sort of run together without spacing between the two.

Sorted :)

message 18: by Silvana (new)

Silvana (silvaubrey) Ratings in Goodreads can sometimes fool ya. I would not worry about ratings.

Awesome!
Thanks. :)

Heather (bruyere) Interesting indeed! Especially when some people love and same hate the book. :)
