Betsy | 32 comments Lowell is starting a new series about the continuing adventures of Ishmael Wang, A Seeker's Tale. The first book, In Ashes Born, was just published for Kindle. Paperback will come later.

Teresa Carrigan | 7 comments While I enjoyed To Fire Called, it felt as if there were at least two chapters missing there at the end. Hopefully the next in the series will fill in at least some of the gap.

Christine | 2 comments I really enjoyed it. I reread In Ashes Born first, as it had been so long, and that was fun to revisit. To the Fire Called flowed smoothly from that. I think it suffers a bit from Second Act Syndrome - and once the third volume is out and the three can be read together, it will feel better, though I agree it needed more transition right at the end. More detail would have been more satisfying instead of the rush to the end. Maybe the author can fix that. Or maybe the reason for the gap in detail will come clear when the third volume debuts. I trust Lowell. Can't wait to see where the story is going from here! Many surprises this time around. So good to be back in the Solar Clipper universe again!
