I feel that! I thought maybe only Australia had the late paperback release date. Oh well, we will just have to hurry our reading along ;)
Well the hardcover has been out for a year and book two just released or is about to. I just really wanted the paperback. Lol.
My copy gets here in a few days! I'm so excited! Has anyone gotten theirs yet? My reading may bleed into November, but that's okay. (:
So my copy finally came today. Four days late! Ridiculous. 1-3 day shipping my ass. Anyway, I've read chapters 1 & 2. It has me interested, but it doesn't have me absolutely hooked. Maybe I should've read more, but finals are this week so I need to go very slow with the reading. How do y'all feel about it so far? Are some of you still waiting on your copy to arrive?
I'm a little bit more than halfway through and so far I would say that it's definitely not up there with the best books I've ever read but I do like the main character a lot and I like that it's a pretty quick read.
Ah, see I got that vibe from the beginning. I rate books based on their ability to hold my attention so usually a 4 or 5. But so far this one seems like a 3. I was able to put it down before finding out what happened to her locker. That's not a good sign. I should've been like needing to know and sadly I wasn't.
Now that I have read chapters 3 & 4, I can say it's getting slightly more interesting. But I'm still not sucked in and I get the feeling that I won't be. Although I am curious about this Tyler character.
So I finally finished it. I was going to give it 3 stars, but I bumped it to 4 because the second half had me hooked. However, if goodreads did half stars, it would have been 3.5. I might pick up the sequel at some point, but not anytime soon.
hey so I know I'm late but I've finally finished uni and I've finally got to pick up this book. I'm up to page 95 and I'm pretty interested
