Miles opened the tunnel and pulled himself out of it.
"Welcome to the hideout."

Ace, Aaron, and Quinn climbed out.
"Its better than nothing." Quinn shrugged

"Its weird Lacy knows about all of this. The tunnels. This place." Miles shrugged and started exploring

Ace followed looking for a first aid kit.

He grabbed some food and brought it back
"Doubt Archer was feeding you two that well."

Ace shrugged busy going through the kit.
Aaron took the food grateful, "Thanks."

"No problem." He shrugged

"How long will it take for Lacy to get here?" Quinn asked looking out the window.

"I don't know. She never told us how she'd get out. We just wait." Miles shrugged

"That's so reassuring." He mumbled

"Shut up man. She'll be fine. She's Lacy." He chuckled

Lacy climbed out of the tunnel after 10 minutes.
" He killed the damn horse." She said when she pulled herself up

"Forget the horse." Quinn said looking at her, "You good?"

"Eh. He wouldn't come out at first. So I called him a coward. Then he chased me. The plan went well so yep. I'm good." She shrugged and dusted off the dirt

Quinn nodded and looked back out the window when Aaron went over and hugged Lacy

Lacy hugged him back.
"Mae's fine." She said immediately

"Where is she? I need to see her." he said immediately worried about his sister.

"Um...at her boyfriends." She bit her lip

He groaned, "She's 6 and already had a boyfriend."

"Has. Not had. And Roland's a sweet kid." She shrugged.
"Miles! Where's Ace?" She moved around Aaron and toward him.
"I don't know. Exploring?"

"I'm fine." Ace said coming out one of the back rooms with a first aid kit, "Your dad isn't one of the nicest jailers. You know."

"Yeah I know. Before I knew he was my dad he jailed me." She went over and hugged her.
"I missed you!"

Ace winced as her wounds throbbed but she hugged Lacy back, "I missed you too."

"Sorry. And I'm sorry you got caught. And jailed." She backed off.

Miles came up to them.
"Yeah sorry. I shouldn't have kissed you in public."

Ace shrugged, "I've had worse." she touched Miles's cheek, "Its fine."

"Woah woah woah. Back it up. Had worse....kissers?" Miles narrowed his eyes then snapped his fingers.
"Oh no no no. Chica. Don't go there."

Ace giggled a bit, "That was so not what I meant."

"Better not be. Your supposed to be nice to your boyfriend." He scolded.

Lacy rolled her eyes and went to Quinn and Aaron.
"There are blankets and food in here. I'll try to come back soon. If not tomorrow. I told Mae I had a surprise so I should go get her. But if Archer sees me I might not be able to come back tonight. I kinda broke the window to send him on a wild goose chase." She shrugged

"Are you going to bring her here?" Aaron asked

Ace rolled her eyes, "Shut up and come help me clean my wounds." she said heading to the bathroom.

"I can't take you to her. So yeah. . If Archers watching me I can't lead him here. So I'll go through the tunnels with her." Lacy told him

"That's probably not smart." Quinn snorted, "The kid is like a mini you. Are you really going to tell her about a tunnel system that leads all over Earthen?"

"She wasn't always a mini me. And that." She pointed to Aaron.
"Is her brother. Who she thought was dead. I won't not tell her. And if I go above ground Archer can see and track me." She argued.

Quinn rolled his eyes. He had asked a simple question and some how offend her. Great. Just what he needed.

"Already acting like a married couple." Miles chuckled at them.

Lacy flipped him off.

"Save that for Quinn hun." Miles tsked

Ace rolled her eyes and pulled Miles away from them, "Leave them to their own problems."

"I like messing with them. They're my brother and sister." He shrugged.

Lacy looked at Quinn.
"You staying?"

"Even brothers and sisters need a break." she kissed his cheek.

He shook his head, "I have to go play the distraught fiance." he said

"I'll explain later." She told Aaron. Since she hasn't told him she was engaged.
"Good idea." She told Quinn.
"See you guys later." She went back toward the tunnel.
"Aaron are you okay? You seem really quiet." She said before she went down..



Miles smiled.
"Your good for me "

Aaron gave her a small smile, "I'm just thinking. I'm fine."

Ace smiled, "Of course." She gave him the first aid kit she had found. "Help me stitch my wounds."

"Gro-" He stopped himself.
"Great." He said instead.

"You'll be happy when I get Mae." She decided

"Stop being a baby." she snorted, "Some knight in shining armor."

He nodded and went back to staring off in space.

"Now you sound like Lacy. " He sighed and opened the kit.

She went down through the tunnels

"I'll take that as a compliment." Ace shrugged and took off her shirt revealing the long marks on her back most of which were old. "The one on my shoulder." she told him

He started stitching it up. He fought cringes.
"There." He said when he was done

"Thanks." she said and put her shirt back on wincing slightly

"I have to say. The first time you took your shirt off wasn't in this situation in my mind." He grinned mischievously.

Ace blushed, "I bet it wasn't. You should just be happy and live with it."
