Let's Talk About Julie Garwood discussion

We'll take nominations for the November 2015 Group Read now until October 17th. Then we will do a poll for the winner.

Nominations:

An idea was given that we might want to read Julie Garwood's books in order of their publishing date. The first one being Gentle Warrior. This would take place of our nominating a monthly book.

Please let us know what you all think of this idea. Thanks!

It would be nice to re read JG books with all of you (although i don't want to re read Gentle Warrior)
But maybe alternate months, one month JG book, the next another author.

I have been really enjoying these monthly reads, but what i would like to see more is discussions of the books we read.

I agree, Jewel! I am one of the worst for discussions. Sometimes I don't get to the book as quickly as I'd like and I don't always know how many are reading it also. But I will try harder.

I will wait for a few more to weigh in and then I may do a poll to get people's opinions.

I like Jewel's idea of every other month. But then, we'd have to make sure the JG's books that do get nominated on the alternating month don't interrupt - or jump ahead in line - of the upcoming books.

Or maybe we do JG's book in publishing order and then on the alternating months do a "guest" author. Is that what you meant, Jewel?

We could have JG's books run for 2 months (then, if newbies check out the group they'll see one of her books on the home page) -- and then do a "guest" author every other month.

So you want us to make an executive decision or do you want us to poll the group? I'm good either way.

Okay, I think we decided to make an executive decision and we are going to go with Gentle Warrior as the November Group Read.
