This is a "three strikes and you're out" situation. If you are given three strikes by the head moderator, you will be terminated from the group, no questions asked. Only the head moderator may deliver strikes or take away privileges, but any moderator may deliver warnings or reminders. Moderators must abide by these rules as well.

General Rules

1. Be courteous and respectful to others. No bullying. Keep a positive attitude and refrain from using obscene language when speaking with other members. Violation of this rule will result in a warning or one strike, depending on the situation.

2. Your character must be approved by a moderator before you may roleplay. Moderators must have their characters approved by the head moderator. You must also agree to these rules before as well. Violation of this rule will result in a warning and deletion of all your posts before you have either agreed to these or had your character approved.

3. Listen to the moderators. We are here to both make your lives easier and to keep the group safe, fun, and organized. Respect the moderators and they will respect you. Remember that if there is an argument between a regular member and a moderator, both sides will be reviewed carefully, but the moderator is most likely to be the one supported in the argument. Now moderators, this does not mean you get to do whatever you'd like. When enforcing rules or other things, remain respectful and kind, and remember that being a moderator is a privilege and can be taken away by me should I deem it necessary. Violation of this rule will result in a warning or one strike, depending on the situation.

Roleplaying Rules

1. This is an advanced roleplay. This means your characters and roleplay posts must be descriptive and mature. This does not mean long, but one or two line posts will not be accepted. Roleplaying will also always be in third person. Violation of this rule will result in a firm reminder from a moderator or revoking of the privilege to roleplay a requested character.

2. Please keep the roleplaying at a PG-13 level. Cursing is fine, as well as some intimacy, but if you start throwing the f-bomb around constantly or use a word that could be incredibly offensive to another member, even if it's just for the roleplay, that is not considered okay. In the long run just use your best judgement. If you're unsure, simply message a moderator to ask. Violation of this rule will result in a strike. Never use a curse word in addressing another member of the group, violation of this will result in immediate termination from the group,

3. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT add drama, battles, or any other extraordinary events or other things to the roleplay without first consulting a moderator. Please PM a mod first and they will come to me with what you are requesting to have happen, or simply come to me. I will either approve or disapprove what it is, and you will just have to deal with my decision. We can't have a roleplay going on with ten different battles going on at the same time. Violation of this rule will result in one to two strikes, depending on the severity.

4. You do not have to get a moderator's permission before killing your own character, but please inform us first. Simply send us a little message saying "Hey, I'm planning to kill so-and-so in the next few days or so, just giving you a heads up." and we will be totally cool with your decision.
However, you must ask another member permission before killing or injuring their character severely. I don't care how you do this, but once it's decided, please let a moderator know in advance. Violation of this rule will result in a warning.

5. Please use proper grammar when roleplaying. There aren't really any guidelines to this, but no abbreviations, spell things correctly as much as possible. In joining an advanced roleplay, this should be an automatic. We understand that sometimes you just mess up or just aren't sure how something is spelled. If you ever need help just ask a mod or another member. Violation of this rule will result in a warning the first two times, a strike the next three times.

Copy this statement and post below to agree to the rules.

I [insert name here] agree to the above rules and to the consequences I should receive should I violate one or multiple of them. I understand that three strikes given to me by the head moderator will result in my termination from the group. Finally, I agree to do the best I can to abide by these rules in an argument should I ever get into that situation.
