So after a week of heavy deliberation, and some serious back and forth with my editor, I have made the decision to rework the first 10 chapters of my novel, The Children of the Forest.

This wasn't an easy decision, but I think it was a necessary one. There were aspects of the book that I loved, but also just as many things that either weren't working in the ways I had originally intended, or else not receiving the positive feedback I'd hoped for.

I've uploaded the first chapter (the prologue) with major revisions, and I implore everyone, fan or not, to check it out-if for nothing else, than to see the evolution of the literary process. I'm really happy with the new opening, and I think readers will love it too.

Feedback here, or on the chapter itself would be most appreciated, and going forward, I'm hoping I can have a new chapter posted every 3-4 days. Thanks everyone!
