Interested in mysteries and whodunits set in a historical context and spanning different geographies -- e.g., Bernard Cornwell's Grail Quest series, Steven Saylor's Roma Sub Rosa series, and some of the works of Umberto Eco (The Name of the Rose, for example).
I agree it is also nice to read books sent in different parts of the world. I would rather read a book that someone else recommended so it is great to see what you have enjoyed.I just realized I had a Bernard Cornwell book on my to read list.
