Becca click clacked in, trying to be quiet. She cursed. "Curse these heels! They are beautiful but so loud." She frowned. She managed to make her way to the Percy Jackson books.

((Keep in mind that Mal and Anna look the exact same))

Malencia walked the aisles of the now familiar library as she looked for a book to read for the book report she would have due in two weeks. It was never hard to do the report, but it was when you had over 40 books on your BTR List.

((Right))
Becca was about to grab a book when she heard footsteps. "Shoot." She hissed. She retracted her hand and put a bored expression on her face.

((Okay.))

Malencia thought it be better just to bring a stack of books home and read all of them before choosing one to pick from so she by the time she knew it she had six books with her and she cold barely see where she was going

Becca saw a girl with 6 books turn the corner, staggering her way. Rolling her eyes, Becca hurried over. "Darling are you trying to commit suicide! Give me some of those!" She took some from the girl's arms. "Hey.. Weren't you that girl I borrowed the needle from?"

Malencia laughed an chuckled at the joke, but deep down it wasn't, so she played it off and shrugged. "Thank you, but no I wasn't nor would I have. I was just going over to the table over there so I could put them in my book bag" she explained. "Technically no because that was my sister. We only saw each other for approximately five minutes before you left in a hurry."

"Well let me help you. You surely would have run into something." Becca said distastefully. After she had set the books on the table, she turned back to Malencia. "Now please enlighten me, what are you doing with 6 books?"

Malencia kept her mouth shut and accepted the help as she said, "Okay. Thank you" before putting on the books in her bag and then turning around to explain to the girl that she was having to do a book report

Becca listened her explanation. "Not to sound like I'm a smart aleck or anything... But, correct me if I'm wrong, most book reports only require one book. What are you doing with 6?" She asked, flipping her hair.

Malencia laughed and sighed, "Nah, it's fine.... I'm going to read all six and then decide on which book to do my book report on because these are all on my list and I have two weeks to complete the assignment so why not?" she explained

Becca shook her head in disgust. "Who has that much time to read? Which teacher do you have that gave you the assignment?" She clucked her tongue.

Malencia shrugged and let the comments keep rolling off her back, "I do. I'm busy with a whole lot of stuff, but I am three levels above my grade average and am a speed reader so I can finish a book on the same day I started one if Ii wanted to." she countered.

Becca lifted her shoulders in a meager shrug. "I spend most of my time sewing. The only books I ever read anymore are sewing books." she inspected her nails.

"Well since you love sewing than that's good for you. But I prefer to be entertained and have thought provoking content to read so that is why I spend a lot of my time reading." she explained as she picked up her bad and headed towards check out

"Are you saying sewing is not entertaining and thought provoking?? I'll have you know it takes a lot of practice! Reading you can learn how to do in a day. Sewing takes years!" Becca demanded, following her.

((Haha!!... Yeah they are... which is surprising considering all my other RPs are over 50 pages.))

Malencia sighed and stopped as shook her head as she turned around. "No, What I'm saying that me personality, I would rather spend my time reading rather than sewing, though I know how... We just have different interest." she explained

"Anyone can learn how to read. Sewing is a MUCH better activity." Becca frowned.

Malencia sighed and shrugged, "According to you it is a better activity. But not all think like you not like the same activities so that is why k prefer reading over sewing." She explained as she put her books on the check out table and had then checked out

Becca stomped her foot. Then a peaceful look came over her face. "How long have you been here?" She asked.

((Haha!! What?))

"About a year and a half." Malencia I answered shortly as she waited patiently for the librarian to check out her books as she talked with her about her grandchildren and then thanked her as she turned around to walk off.

((Just her way of showing frustration.))
But before she could, a French manicured hand clamped her shoulder. "Exactly. I've been here SEVEN. I know more then you. And one thing I know you don't know, is that you need to stay out of my way." A voice sneered in her ear. Then Becca pushed her aside and stormed out.

((Why is she frustrated?.... And what just happened?))

((She's frustrated because she's finally met someone who doesn't agree with everything she says/cower before her, and basically Becca's telling her that because she's been there longest, she knows more, and that she can bring Malenica down, so stay out of her way.))

Malencia hadn't expected the girl to act the way she did, but that didn't mean she didn't retaliate, because if there was one thing she hated the most was having people push her or others around, so she turned back around and grabbed the petit hand and twisted it so it was in front of her with the girls thumb pointing back at her, a position that didn't hurt but could if she applied pressure. "Don't you ever threaten me or my sister. You have no idea what I can do. Or what I know. So you may know more about some thing. But I excel in a many other things. So before you go around thinking you can push me around. I'd stop and think about who you are messing with." she growled back in a deep insidious with her eyes glaring back at the girl as she steady her self like she had been taught in Martial Arts.

((Ohhhhh!!! Okay!.... Well that was a wrong move for Becca.))

Becca's face turned white. "Let go of me right now." She hissed. ((Sorry it's short compared to yours but for a reason))

Malencia didn't let go of the girl's hand, not until she had what she needed. So she applied very very little pressure and stepped in closer as she spoke even lower. "Understand?"

"Please let go. He touched me there.." Becca begged, tears forming. Her legs shook.

Malencia let go at once and hugged the girl gently, leading her to a chair right by them so they could sit down. She could see and hear the fear in the girls eye and felt the tiniest but guilty, but that only made her want to help more. That's how she was, she was the type of person who would let things roll over to a point, but the second someone crossed it with her or anyone she cared, she snapped. And though she was like that, she was very compassionate and sympathetic. So she hugged the girl and waited for her to calm down.

Becca's hat hid her expression but she appreciated the hug. She pulled out her hankie and dabbed her eyes. Sensing Malencia wanted her to explain, she said, "I was.. raped a couple of years ago.. And the man who raped me grabbed my arm in the exact same spot."

A lot of possibilities had run through Malencia’s head, but the real explanation that the girl had given, was not one of them, it might actually have been the farthest thing from her mind. And what was worse was that she didn’t know what to say so she just hugged the girl and apologized for bringing back that memory. She knew that flashbacks could easily break a person, especially if they were bad, but she hoped that the effect it had would be over soon.

"It's fine... You couldn't have known. Not many people do. It's part of the reason I act like a female dog. Feeling like I'm above everyone helps hide the pain." Becca sighed.

“But so does sharing and trusting someone with the secret. Jokes and friendship helps too.” Malencia advised wisely in a soft and caring voice as she gently rubbed the girl’s back. “And breaking every once in awhile with someone you trust next to you helps too. It’s always okay to cry.” she added softly

Becca took a shaky breath. "He got me pregnant. I was considering abortion for months. I finally ended up keeping it, but then gave it up for adoption."

That shocked her to the core, the fact that all that had happened to her had made Malencia furious at the guy who had done this to this poor girl who now had her life messed up because of him. “I’m sorry you had to go through that, but please know that you can confide in me whatever you want. I won’t judge and haven’t even now. I will just listen and try to confort the best I can. Please feel free to express whatever you need to while in my prescences.”

Becca burst into tears. "It was so awful." She wailed. "One minute I was walking down the street the next i was being gagged and brought to some sick apartment that smelled like cigarettes."

((Awww!!! I’m sorry. We eat late. Dang…. Well if you do, I’ll answer whatever you post and then you can answer mine in the morning. It’s no biggie))

“Hey, hey, hey… It’s okay. I’m here. Don’t worry… You are safe now. He can’t you anymore.” Malencia assured her as she stood up and took her to a private room to talk with her privately since people were beginning to stare and knowing that this was a private matter that not everyone needed to hear, so gently she guided her to the room and sat her down in the study room before shutting the door and going back to hug her again.

"Whenever I struggled he would slap and kick me. And it hurt so much when he, you know, raped me, but he wouldn't stop!" Becca hiccuped.

Malencia hugged the girl tight and let her keep talking, letting her say what she had to so that she could get it off her chest and hopefully feel better soon. And though she was already hoping that that was the end of it, she knew it wasn’t and there was more to the story, so she tried her best to comfort the girl.

"The worst part of it all is, I went to the police, but they said there wasn't anything they could do since he wasn't someone I knew or whatever. I suggested they do a DNA scan or whatever, but they said that would be too expensive!!" Becca choked out.

((Sorry.... I was um doing something that caused me to be off until now.))

Malencia hugged the girl even tighter, not wanting anyone, even her enemies to go brought what she had gone through. She felt so bad and guilty and for this girl, but her bear hug showed it. She just did as her sister always did to her when she was in tears sobbing and hoped it would work

Becca continued to sob till she could only shudder and moan.

Malencia helped the girl stay calm and held her, but she felt the shudder and heard moan, she wasn't sure what was wrong, so she leaned out a little and asked, "everything alright?" in a soft and gentle voice.
