Looks like a fascinating tale, and got five stars from Wil Wheaton! I'm excited about this one :)

Hey, strange but enjoyable is fine! It's good to have something a bit different every now and then :)
I've read a bunch of books recently that explored the theme of "what if?" or alternate endings for stories based on the choices the characters made. In a way, this graphic novel fit that theme, although the different endings didn't really come about due to choices by the main character. Instead, it was more about appreciating what you have in life because you never know what moment might be your last. I guess in that way it is a little like Life After Life, except Bras doesn't start over at the beginning and get to try again. He "dies" at the end of each chapter, and chapters which show him at a later age make no reference to this, nor do they show an alternate sequence of events. My only real complaint is that the chapters are not in chronological order, and I couldn't find any significance in the order chosen by the authors. The book is beautifully drawn and the message is poignant. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes this genre.
