I know it's kind of late in the year but if you need that extra push to reach your goal please post it here we will all post some encouraging words to help you reach that goal.

I'm like 19 books behind in my goal. Last year I cleared my goal of 100 books by reading 102. This year I made the goal smaller by making it 50 books. And I've only managed to get to 19. But I'm so behind I'm not even sure I can manage it.

I had like a goal of 60 last year and uped it to 80 this year. It was touch and go for awhile at one point. lol

C Boers | 15 comments My goal was 50, I'm at 30, and I know I wont be able to reach my goal, but that's okay! :)

message 7: by Dominique (new)

Andrea (booktasticnerd87) | 4512 comments Mod
Yes exactly what Dom said. The important thing is that we are all reading.

message 9: by Inky (new)

Inky My goal only was 10 because I set the goal in July or August now I'm up to 18 thanks to some graphic novels but it's really help me get back into the swing of reading. Maybe add some graphic novels to help boost the reading goal. You guys can do it!!

I only need to read one more book to reach my goal of 80! I'm pretty excited about it honestly. I think next year I will up my book goal another 20.

There are two weeks left in 2015. So the questions I guess I'm going to ask you all are:

How many books are you guys away from your goodreads goal?

Have you completed your goodreads goal?

I have to admit that I finished my goodreads goal early this month. So anything else I finish is pretty much just icing on the cake. lol. I hope you are all doing great on your goodreads goal! If you are behind a little, keep going you can do it!

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

I haven't finished my goal this year sadly. Everything horrible has happened this year. But I'll try harder for next year's goal. Lol.

I am debating upon making my goal higher since I was able to finish my goal early this month. I am debating on making it 10 more next year for a goal of 90.

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

My goal was 50 this year. Last year it was 100 and I surpassed it. But this year I could not. I'm doing 60 this year. Hopefully nothing bad will happen and I can finish it!

You can do it! I have to admit that my original goal was like 100 but I decided that I only read 60 last year I would bump it down to 80. I am trying to work my way up to a goal of 100 books in a year! I would totally love at some point to be past 100.

I loved doing 100!!! I thought I'd definitely pass 50 but I moved and got a new job and cat. And then in November my father in law landed in the hospital. And with the recent news I got today... Yeah I wasn't hitting 50 this year. Lol.

I was in a huge slump back in June and July and didn't read much of anything. I think four books between the two months.

I feel your pain on a spiritual level. My husband will be gone for the next week so we did Christmas last night. I got sooooooo many books. And I'm going shopping today cause my sister in law gave me a $50 b&n gift card. I'm excited for the new year.

Oh do tell what new books did you get? I still must live through others books right now that they receive before Christmas since I am still on that darn book buying ban.

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

I got Two Boys Kissing by David Leviathan, Lola and the Boy Next Door, Isla and the Happily Ever After, Greek Gods by Rick Riordan, Greek Heroes by Rick Riordan, Stitching Snow by R. C. Lewis. Then I bought myself five books with the gift card. I bought Prodigy by Marie Lu (I want to finish reading this series before I read The Young Elites...), Red Rising, Oblivion by Jennifer L. Armentrout, Mistborn and Rebel Spring.

I bought the Greek Heroes on. I have been wanting to read Stitching Snow let me know what you think about it when you read it.

I need to read Prodigy and Champion by Marie Lu. I liked Legend.

I kind of just posted to the Holiday Book Haul board the books I know about or have actually received so far. It's a lot of books. I cannot wait to unwrap the books that I do not know about. I am apparently supposed to love the ones that I am getting.

Omg, if you ladies do that then I will have to follow! I don't want to be left out! <3 I don't have internet yet at my home, so I'm at starbucks leeching from them. Lol. I wanted to set up my goal for next year but I guess I can't do that until midnight! I'll be at work from 10:45pm until 7am. So once 12am hits I'll be starting on a book for next year!!!!!

Andrea (booktasticnerd87) | 4512 comments Mod
Well Leela I guess you will be doing 100 lol

message 32: by [deleted user] (new)

I know. I started spazzing to my friend about wanting to follow you and Megan with reading 100. Lol. I hope this will be a successful and fun reading year!!! I have high hopes for 2016!!!

message 33: by Andrea (new)

Andrea (booktasticnerd87) | 4512 comments Mod
Well if we are all reading for a goal of 100 and supporting each other then I don't see why we can't successfully do the goal of 100.

message 34: by [deleted user] (new)

Sometimes life gets in the way of books. Lol. Like this year for me: new job, house move, husband getting seriously injured 2xs, new fur baby, new house mates, father in law being sick. All that got in the way of just relaxing and reading. I did more stressing in 2015 then I did peacefully giving myself space. But this year will be so much better! I can feel it!
