2015 Reading Challenge [Closed] discussion

I was blown away by this book. It is about teenage boys, hardship and choices, growing up and dealing with bad or lacking parenting. The story is gripping, well witten, full of action but also compassion. The characters, their problems, feelings and actions are real, their struggles are outlined just enough to make your own conclusions. Each character is different and real. Hinton gives the sides of all involved. It really resonated with me, I think this is my new favorite book! Oh, did I mention that is short, too?
