Sounds cool. What saved the Heroes of Olympus series for me was some of the interest from new characters, and while I still wasn't a huge fan, seeing them back in a more Camp Half-Blood setting like the originals I think would really work for me. Still can't get through the Kane Chronicles, but I'm halfway through Magnus Chase and actually really liking it!! Some of the problems I had with the last series are cropping up, but the first person POV and introduction of my favorite mythology is really, really working for me! So I'm definitely excited for this!
Read the first chapter of Magnus Chase to my youngest sister and we both really liked it. Don't have time to finnish the book untill the weekend though...*sigh*
The Sword of Summer, the first in the Magnus Chase series came out yesterday. BUT that's not all that Riordan has in the works! There's going to be a new series called The Trials of Apollo, going back to the Greek Gods (and Percy!!) but focusing more on Apollo. The first book in The Trials of Apollo, titled The Hidden Oracle comes out May 3, 2016. Demigods and Magicians is the bindup of short stories featuring Percy, Anabeth, Sadie, and Carter, and it comes out April 5, 2016. Adding these to the purchase order ASAP!!
