I was so excited when I found this group, and just joined. I've been reading mermaid books forever--most recently Waterfire Saga Jennifer Donnelly and Atlantia by Ally Condie. I also just published my very own. It's a modern and more scientific take on the mermaid. It's called Sirens, Rising Tide. I hope it is OK to post this being that I am the author, but this group seems like the perfect audience. There is a giveaway currently and the book is a 2015 Kindle Scout selection.
