Serenity walked into the lunchroom after a while and sat down at one of the tables. She was not particularly hungry, so she took out homework to start early.

Eric was looking for his aunt's gift so fast he didn't notice Serenity walk in.

Serenity sighed and started her trigonometry homework.

Eric finally saw it and held it tightly. He then noticed Serenity sitting down. He, too, sat down next to her. He put down the box on the table.

((Gtg. Gonna reply tomorrow.))

Serenity raised an eyebrow at Eric before continuing her homework.

((Hello?))

((Sorry, I was too busy with other things. But we can continue now!))

Eric looked at Serenity and said, "It's from my great-grandpa. He gave it to me before he passed away."

((That is okay.))

"Was there a reason he gave you a box?" She asked

"He just gave it and said to let nothing happen to it," Eric said.

"Did he also tell you not to open the box, Pandora?" Serenity said smirking.

"Actually, yeah, he did."

"Did he say what was in it?" She asked.

"Nope."

"So all you do with this box is carry it around."

"Yeah."

"Intriguing," she said sarcastically.
