I've only read 2 chapters but I think I might prefer this over Twilight lol

Really? I find it soo hard to connect with the character and im stuck trying to find out who is who. I may have to stop trying to connect people and just read it like a new book.

I've been doing that too lol. I eventually had to go ask my daughter whats Rosalie's name was because all I knew was it started with an R because of Royal. Btw what kind of name is that for a boy?

Every name so far has drove me crazy.

I'm not too far in, myself. I've been trying to think of it as its own book, instead of trying to match everyone. It's hard to do, because Twilight is so ingrained in my brain that it's hard to try and disconnect the two.

Not sure about the names, either! I actually like Edythe, and I'm guessing she went with Beau/Beaufort to keep the "beautiful" meaning to the name? The others have just been pretty weird. Really could have chosen better names.

Royal is an old name, so I can understand why she picked it...but at the same time, I feel like she could have matched the names better, you know?

I agree with you 100%.
Someone said that beau name isnt produced beau like beautiful but more like bou or something like that. Im reading as beau like beautiful.i see amanda your reading it the same,Joycedale how are you pronouncing it.

I say it Bo just because I grew up with a boy that pronounced it that way. But when it says his full name I think like beautiful because thats how my friend Beauford pronounces his. I know that's not how it's spelled but I keep autocorrecting it because I'm used to seeing my friend's name on FB. Lol its really confusing in my head

Oh, I pronounce it like Joycedale. But the meaning behind the name is similar to Bella.

I'm actually kind of liking the role reversal so far. I'm just in the beginning of chapter 5 now, and everything still seems to fit without being too weird.

Oooh ok, well i guess his name is one of the million i pronounce wrong a day reading...lol

Now that im not trying to find out who is who, im liking the story better now.
I not sure but i havent got to jacobs characters yet, i hope he's in it (he has to be right). They say theres a big twist i hope its not that.

Let me know if its me just bugging but is every single female character madly in love with beau. I know people liked bella but i dont remember them being like this.

Haha, I noticed that. Like, moreso than the guys were with Bella. The girls are all over Beau. But that could just be the perception thing with the gender roles switched?

I'm pretty sure Jacob is in this. But I'm not there yet.

Jacob is Julie, I made it to chapter 10. I just got off the phone with my sister, she started this today and she said she's pronouncing it like beautiful too.
Did you guys read the foreword too? I know she said she changed the "rape" scene and I like what she did with it.
I think you're right though Mystery, just read it likes it's a new book. My sister also pointed out what my problem is with the name Royal. In Royal is a girl.

Yea the girls do seem to be fighting over him more than the boys did Bella

I finished. I couldn't put it down. I so like Beau and Edyth more than Edward and Bella. I wish this is how the story originally was.
And that ending, omg! I can't wait for you guys to finish.

Oh gosh, I need to get going on this! I got busy today and had to put it down for awhile. Going to get back to reading this in a bit, though.

I'm glad you liked it! Means there's hope. :P I imagine I'll continue to like the story, aside from the weird names.

Awww, had to read The Wrath and the Dawn but it was a super fast read so im back on to this. Im soo glad you enjoyed it now i cant wait.

Finally finished! I have to say that was a great ending. Loved it, but I'm still left wanting more. Perhaps it's because I enjoyed Bella's story so much? But I really think Beau and Edythe are better together, for each other?, than Bella and Edward. Even if it's essentially the same couple.

I really feel for Charlie, though!

I would've liked more too. I kept thinking if she was to continue the story how would they do the pregnancy? LOL.
I thought Beau and Edyth made a better couple too.

Super late, but that ending was great and that twist with archie was soo unexpected. Like you guys said i feel bad for charlie, beau never got to say he was sorry and didnt mean it. I was hopeing that beau would of wrote a letter explaining that he was just mad and was very sorry for saying those hurtful things and that he loved charlie. The letter could of been mailed or written but not yet mailed and was found in his truck not burned.Idk lol

I wondered why he didn't call the next day like he said he would
