I'm at 23! I've made great strides. :)I intend to have 25 by the end of the month.
I read and loved Drama (as you said I would, Feliza).
Part of me feels like I've "cheated", even though I know I haven't. I've read some non-fiction books that were simple and quick reads. They're still books, though, darn it, so they count!
Woo! You're doing it!!!
Drama really is a wonderful graphic novel, especially for middle grade. I have another graphic novel you might like - I loaned it to Emi and she liked it a lot. It's a full-color fairy tale-style graphic novel, a bit in the tradition of Sinbad the Sailor, about a princess who goes off on mythical non-Western adventures - The Legend of Bold Riley.
All books count! Don't undercut any titles!

Just finished up two today to meet the 25 mark! If I hope to keep up this pace for the rest of the year I had probably better look into more graphic novels and children's books, though... XD
I'm at 31 closing in on 32, 33, and, 34 in tandem. I'm ahead but still wishing I could could go faster .

DEFINITELY do that. I think most of my books (or around half) are graphic novels or manga. I ended up buying a bunch of manga volumes used pretty inexpensively, so if you're into that sort of thing, I'd recommend it. Plus, for April, the Book Club title is Saints, and its companion Boxers is also a quick read.

Anmiryam, I'm seriously impressed by your fortitude, haha. If I could read all the books I want, though, I agree, I'd want to go faster.

Are you there? Ahead? Behind? What books out of what you've read this year so far would you recommend? How have you stayed on track, or how do you plan to catch up if you're behind?
