Kangaroo Wrestler? Lol!!Great idea, Kat. Now we can chat about NaNo without driving everyone else bonkers.
I must admit, I used to think it was a bit of a crock and Wrimos would drive me nuts with their incessant, obsessive 'NaNo this, NaNo that'...until I did it for myself last year - now I'm hooked. I've been plotting for nearly 6 weeks and can't wait for November to roll around.
I'm putting all my other writing/groups/workshops/blogs on hold for the month and surrendering to NaNo completely.
By the way, can you send Nicky an invite to this group or is it okay if I do? She's having a crack this year, too.
Thanks - you've just added a whole new level of enthusiasm for me :)
Ooh, someone else (I'm guessing Kat) gave you your title. That makes a lot more sense, as we were just discussing this last night. I insisted kangaroos were kickboxers.
Haha, yep - you'd be hard pressed to get close enough to wrestle one. They have very strong tails which they lean back on and support their entire weight so they can kick out with both VERY powerful legs. Their claws are nasty, too - can rip open a dog or dingo with one swipe. Screw wrestling roos!
My title comes from Dragon Ball Z: Abridged.Joke starts in Episode 21 and pays off in Episode 49.
"You ruined it. You ruined it, and I'm leaving."
Lol, Alex, yours and Ryan's pictures look vaguely similar, so I thought he was talking to himself for a second. XD PLUS. Your name throws me off. :(
Lol!!!! You need a new computer or some glasses if you think Al and her husband exchanging vows looks similar to me sitting alone with s guitar, Kat!Too funny ;-)
The coloring's are very similar, and in my defense, the icons are smalllllll. You could do AlMYe. Same format as AlMFr. Or. Y'know. Just, Al, or Alex.
Does anybody mind if I use their characters from Isolation to write a story using that premise? I don't intend to use them all, but a few are interesting. Well, they're all interesting, but a few might fit better than others.
Role-play wehre everyone was in a small town that lost communication with the outside world. We never got into the swing of things, but I think your character was sleeping with her married boss.
I've made multiple outlines for Blood Oaths, but I'm not going to follow them all that strictly. I do know where I'm heading and certain scene I want to write, so that should be enough.
Whoops. Work has been killing me. Technically it's still training. :P A M Y wrote: "Is anyone doing an outline for their novel this time around? I feel like the outline is KILLING me. I've never done one for a novel before...."
Not really. I mean, I've got most of the stories I want in my head, it's just a matter of writing them down. XD
A M Y wrote: "Also, Kat. I changed my picture. Do I still look like Ryan? :O"
And no. But my mind still calls you Amy ;)

Nope, I don't mind, but, can you use a different name? Quinn Jones is one of my things, if that makes sense. Like, a name you use a lot? Ugh I'm tired.
Jacqueline Quinterra, then.I can help with outlines - either general advice or just looking them over.
Did I wake up in a parallel universe? O.o
Moo!
Michelle, your profile pic looks creepy.

Lol! Ryan is Ryan. What's your name, then? Amy?
So, I woke up the other morning with a head full of ideas, spent 2 hours typing up all my thoughts, felt pretty good about how organised I was getting - came back to add something yesterday and....... IT WASN'T THERE!!!!!!!!I don't think I've done anything that 'Dollshead-brained' on the computer for years! DOH!!!
Yeah I hope I've got it down again thanks - perhaps it was destiny's way of editing out the rubbish! ( either that or some gem's got chucked out with the bath water - to mix a couple of metaphors!)
Oh, Nicky *hugs* It happens, just to prove how unreliable machines are haha
I'm doing good :) I'm watching a horror movie now, for inspiration :P
? Leslie - I'm gonna re-read your synopsis!I'm feeling ok, I think - got up at 6am to test out how much I can write in how long and realised I'll either have to get up earlier or write in the evenings as well.
Romance/horror- pretty much the same thing a lot of the time :)You only need to average 1667 words per day, Nicky - you're already ahead so it looks like your pace is fine.

Yeah, good at the mo, but that took me 2hrs and I only have 1 in the mornings or I'll be late for work! I think I did about 1000ish in the hour - so we'll see I might be playing catch up by next week end!
Well, even if you can only manage 1000 words each day during the week, you will only be 3,335 words behind by the weekend. If you add 1,667 for Saturday and Sunday, that's only 6,669 words over the weekend - 3,334.5 each day. At your pace, that's only about 3.5 hours on Saturday and Sunday. Not too bad :)
Wow, math...we don't go well together. Anyway, nice start guys! :)
By the way, I did watch a horror movie but not for inspiration purposes haha Nicky, the first time I joined Nano, I was only able to write 400 words the first day, so, I'm proud of you! :D
