There are so many series that I absolutely adore, so I'll pick a lesser known series. Thirst by Christopher Pike. It's not like all of the other vampire books I've read. Sita is amazing. And I think the religious aspect goes really well.
I absolutely love Shadowhunters saga! Not one book, not one Series, but the whole saga. I just fell in love with that saga two years ago and now I can't stop reading them again and again! So yeah, Grace, I perfectly understand your point of view
Ahhh yay! I always love talking to other people who are obsessed with the Shadowhunters! I love them all too, just especially The Infernal Devices :). Very, very excited for the next two series Clare is writing!
Man, I feel like I'm missing out on something. I'll have to try and read City of Bones next year.
You are missing out, Gab! The whole world she has created is amazing. I get lost in that world regularly!
Well hopefully I can finish everything on my list for the next 2 months or so. Then I'll be free to get to it. Haha.
Yeah you should definitely read them! Yesterday one of my classmate started City of Bones! I feel like an announcing every time this happens! But they are so amazing (and I can say I am really scared by the Tv Series Abc family is producing)
The tv series is the whole reason I bought the first book. Well that and Grace is always telling me it's a great series. But I wanted to at least read book one before the show started.
hey guys, sorry uni has been so stressful I will try start this month's book this weekend. with regards to ya series I don't really have one. Im more of a one book kinda person because I'm strange like that however I really want to read the divergent series and the maze runner series
I know this is out of topic but what is your guys opinion on a put down books shelf? I have two books I'm reading at the moment and I just really don't feel like reading them but they have been on my reading shelf just sitting there for ages and I thought I should tidy up my shelves. so opinions would be fab? -G
xx
Divergent & Maze Runner are both amazing series! Actually now I find really difficult choose the best of the two of them, but probably I would choose Divergent if I had to pick one! But you have to read both
I mean that I love them both and I support your decision to read them. Lol. I absolutely love the Divergent series. Four is just fantastic.
I feel so left out. I haven't read City of Bones or seen the movie and I want to watch the tv show when it comes out. I also haven't read or watched The Hunger Games. And I'm just now reading the Harry Potter series. SO BEHIND.
Don't watch The City of Bones movie it's horrible! As for Hunger Games, they are really great but the movies are spot on so if you have seen those then you are probably okay.
I kinda agree with Miranda, the City of Bones' movie is really terrible, but seeing as they are producing the tv series, I kinda miss it!And for Gabriella, I have never read the Harry Potter saga, I just started the first one, sooo don't worry!
What about Eragon? some of you have read those books?
Now I don't feel so bad! I'm in the middle of reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. But I'm also reading other books so it's taking me a while. I have not read Eragon, but I thought about buying it a couple of times.
I read Eragon when I was a kid and liked it but I can't actually remember what it is about anymore haha! I should reread.
Did you guys ever get into Tamora Pierce?

Hey! I have been considering reading The Death of Bees and I noticed that it was one of the books that everyone read, any opinions?

I loved it! It's very unique and also very full on, but I thought it was definitely worth a read.
I didn't finish it, but I plan to at some point. It's definitely interesting. If you shop at Barnes & Noble, I would look and see if they still have a discounted copy. (:
I haven't found a y/a series that I just love yet, but when I was younger I read the warrior cat series and that was my absolute favorite.
Thirst by Christopher Pike is pretty good. A different take on vampires in my opinion, but you have to keep in mind it was written in the 90's I believe.

Mine is 'The Infernal Devices' by Cassandra Clare, because it is the perfect mix of history, fantasy and suspense! It's even better than her debut series 'The Mortal Instruments' in my opinion.
Tell us yours! I always need more book series to sign my soul over to...
