Everyone has that one series that they go crazy over and could talk about until they pass out - what's yours?

Mine is 'The Infernal Devices' by Cassandra Clare, because it is the perfect mix of history, fantasy and suspense! It's even better than her debut series 'The Mortal Instruments' in my opinion.

Tell us yours! I always need more book series to sign my soul over to...

There are so many series that I absolutely adore, so I'll pick a lesser known series. Thirst by Christopher Pike. It's not like all of the other vampire books I've read. Sita is amazing. And I think the religious aspect goes really well.

Little Reader Sophia | 6 comments I absolutely love Shadowhunters saga! Not one book, not one Series, but the whole saga. I just fell in love with that saga two years ago and now I can't stop reading them again and again! So yeah, Grace, I perfectly understand your point of view

Little Reader Sophia | 6 comments Yeah you should definitely read them! Yesterday one of my classmate started City of Bones! I feel like an announcing every time this happens! But they are so amazing (and I can say I am really scared by the Tv Series Abc family is producing)

The tv series is the whole reason I bought the first book. Well that and Grace is always telling me it's a great series. But I wanted to at least read book one before the show started.

message 14: by Sophia (new)

Little Reader Sophia | 6 comments Divergent & Maze Runner are both amazing series! Actually now I find really difficult choose the best of the two of them, but probably I would choose Divergent if I had to pick one! But you have to read both

I feel so left out. I haven't read City of Bones or seen the movie and I want to watch the tv show when it comes out. I also haven't read or watched The Hunger Games. And I'm just now reading the Harry Potter series. SO BEHIND.

message 19: by Miranda (new)

Miranda Kennedy | 71 comments Don't watch The City of Bones movie it's horrible! As for Hunger Games, they are really great but the movies are spot on so if you have seen those then you are probably okay.

Gabriella (gabmore) | 257 comments Mod
I've heard it's horrible, but that only makes me more interested in seeing it! Haha.

message 21: by Sophia (new)

Little Reader Sophia | 6 comments I kinda agree with Miranda, the City of Bones' movie is really terrible, but seeing as they are producing the tv series, I kinda miss it!
And for Gabriella, I have never read the Harry Potter saga, I just started the first one, sooo don't worry!
What about Eragon? some of you have read those books?

Gabriella (gabmore) | 257 comments Mod
Now I don't feel so bad! I'm in the middle of reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. But I'm also reading other books so it's taking me a while. I have not read Eragon, but I thought about buying it a couple of times.

Grace Lucy | 58 comments Mod
I read Eragon when I was a kid and liked it but I can't actually remember what it is about anymore haha! I should reread.

I didn't finish it, but I plan to at some point. It's definitely interesting. If you shop at Barnes & Noble, I would look and see if they still have a discounted copy. (:

message 32: by Chloe (new)

Chloe Christine I haven't found a y/a series that I just love yet, but when I was younger I read the warrior cat series and that was my absolute favorite.

Thirst by Christopher Pike is pretty good. A different take on vampires in my opinion, but you have to keep in mind it was written in the 90's I believe.
