Shadowhunter's Library (shadowhunters-library) | 132 comments I don't read too many stand alones (probably because I want to focus my time on series), but I would say the The Fault in Our Stars and Wonder are my favorite stand alones.

message 26: by Josiah (new)

Josiah (kenjenningsjeopardy74) More Than This by Patrick Ness is a superb standalone. A few years ago I might have said Nancy Farmer's The House of the Scorpion was my favorite standalone, but now we have The Lord of Opium, so it no longer qualifies. If Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson counts, then that's probably my favorite YA standalone.
