Sophie (sawphie) My hometown is very small town in the small French part of Switzerland (Estavayer-le-Lac), so it was mission impossible to find any book taking place there, even when I extended my search to Fribourg, a slightly bigger town where I studied. Then I heard on the radio an interview of Nicolas Feuz, a Swiss prosecutor who gets inspiration from cases he worked on or he heard of. Incidentally, this book takes in part place in Neuchâtel, the city on the other side of the lake from my hometown, so I figured it could very well fit in this challenge (especially since my other choice took place in Geneva, more than 100 km from where I live).

I don't know much about this book, except that it's a murder-mystery taking place in Switzerland and France and that it won a price. It's going to be weird to read something in French, I feel it's been an eternity! I hope it is good.

Sophie (sawphie) I just finished it and quite liked it! It is a nice murder-mystery with action and a twisted end. Sometimes it is a little too obvious that the author wants to do too much (especially in the descriptions), but overall a nice swiss book.
