Hi all,
I'm searching for like-minded people who want to empower our next generation of scientists and creative thinkers. As a research immunologist and mother of two, I'm always looking for ways to simplify complex information. That's why I decided to write Rose's Superhero Birthday: An Immune Cell Treasure Hunt.

Rose's Superhero Birthday is an innovative children's book that helps kids (ages 4-10 years old), parents and caregivers learn together about our immune cell superheroes!

The book follows Rose (an inquisitive 7 year old girl) and her friends through the joys of childhood, including treasure hunts and self-made theatrical performances, all while illuminating some of the deeper complexities of the immune system.

I created Rose's Superhero Birthday to empower young girls in science as well as inspire the next generation of curious minds. You can see my own 4 year old really engaging with the content in the video!
