Aww... I already started reading scary books at the beginning of October but I'll try to squeeze in 1 or 2 more for this challenge. Last night I was reading The Woman in Black and everyone was asleep and I started hearing house noises which scared me so much I had to stop and crawl in bed with hubby.

I am reading a slightly spooky one which I read every few years by Norah Lofts. Its Gad's Hall / The Haunting of Gad's Hall

Im starting Dante's The Divine Comedy (Inferno) tonight, as well as Grimms complete fairytales (going to try to read a fairtale a day). These probably wont be "scary" but inferno is a journey through hell, and the old fairytales can be quite gory so thats halloweeny enough for me!

I actually read very slowly!
