One of the books that I just finished reading is "Happily Ever After" by Kiera Cass. This book in particular was a compilation of short stories that tie in with one of my favorite series "The Selection." This author is one of my favorites by far, and she wrote this book just as well as she wrote the others. This book included scenes and moments from the original books, written from a new character's perspective, additional endings, and even a section dedicated to where all of the characters are now, in a fictional sense. While it was extremely interesting to read, it was also very helpful in clarifying some of the content from the previous books. It explained why certain characters acted the way they did in certain scenes and also how certain characters felt in certain scenarios and moments throughout the books. Overall, I would give this book a five out of five star rating. I would definitely recommend it to prospective readers, however I would first recommend that they read the rest of the original books in the series first, as this book would be hard to understand otherwise.
