Michelle [Helen Geek] (michelle_reads_to_relax) | 19 comments I'm supposed to be working ...

Notice the case I have? It is upside down. Came that way and I was too lazy to send it back :)

Ian (setaian) | 52 comments Michelle, your desk is a mess!!! I love it! Why is the phone facing the wrong way?

Michelle [Helen Geek] (michelle_reads_to_relax) | 19 comments Oh, great question. My hubs and I have dualing desks. My desk faces his. His is clean [on the other side, behind the phone]. I know were everything is on my desk. It is a work in progress. He hates my mess, but I don't care. I actually cleaned the desk of earlier in the week and this is my neat. I'm a lesson is organized chaos.

Ian (setaian) | 52 comments It looks to me like you're launching a hostile takeover of his desk. Is the phone the line of demarcation? Maybe late at night you could sneak in and move the phone a couple of inches. Just be aware, that's what the Germans did in Europe and look where they ended up.

Michelle [Helen Geek] (michelle_reads_to_relax) | 19 comments Good plan. He'd notice and give me the boot without even blinking. He is VERY territorial between my space and his. VERY. This is clean or decluttered. I'll let it get to its' normal state and take another pic. Give me a few weeks :)

When I officed at the lab, my office-mate was just as he is. She used to subtly suggest I straighten thing up a bit. Eventually she'd give up. She could ask me for ANYTHING and I'd be able to pull it off the desk or a pile on the floor [or under the desk]. She walk away grinning and shaking her head. She tells me she misses me and my desk tricks. We were a great team. Like Felix and Oscar - the odd couple. Bob and I are that in most all ways. I think why we work so well. One day he will just look at me and I know, he's had it. Time to get a trash bag and straighten up.

I'm kinetic, so I print everything and take notes. I've gotten used to using One Note [love it] quite a bit, but still do the print thing. These are my tickler lists -- reminding me I need to finish something. Works for me.

Enough. I bet you're neat as a pin. If so, it is hard to believe you're Gemini. We usually have chaotic brains - the Air influence. How old will you be this year? Me? 53. I can't even believe it.

No...I'm like you. Except at restaurants. Wait staff love me. When I get up to pay, all the plates are neatly stacked, the table is wiped down and ready for the next customer, and the sugar packets are neatly arranged in the caddy.
Oh and you know what I really hate? Look at my first picture at the coffee mug. I put sugar in my coffee stir it and then I put the spoon on the saucer and the mug on the table. I hate having a dirty spoon touching my cup! (The second picture the saucer is a special kind where the spoon can't touch the mug)

ha ha ... don't believe me?
