Aubree Cardnal walked the shore of Merlin lake just wanting to live in the moment and have a small little adventure. She didn't think that anyone would be around which made her relax. She could feel the light breeze blow her hair around. She was just wanting to enjoy the day and the waters of the lake.
Leo, in all her work, needed a break. Hair pulled back into a haphazard braid, she walked along the shores of the lake. What she needed was this: solitude. A break from the stress of trying to bide her time, and of having to listening to the absolutely idiotic complaints about the humans. What was the point? It seemed like trivial, over-stated qualms with people that had done nothing to them, or vice versa. All the hate she had to deal with was giving her a headache. She closed her eyes, sighing heavily.
As Aubree walked not focused on where she was going she ended up bumping into somebody. That was when she went into a panic and without question helped the person up not quite realizing who it was that she had bumped into. "I'm so sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going and just kept walking." She said.
Stumbling back slightly, Leo opened her eyes quickly in order to regain her balance. She did not need to add some minor injury to her list of concerns. She could hear the person apologizing, but her main focus was on checking to be sure nothing had gone awry in her righting herself. Looking up, she took note of the girl. She'd seen her around before; the red hair was somewhat hard to forget. "It's not a problem," she stated, "Just be more careful next time."
Aubree calmed down as she listened to what Leo had to say. "You look like you have a headache." She said being really observant she could see that. "Do you need a remedy?" She asked reaching into her dress pocket she had a certain tea she made that helps headaches.
Leo was mildly surprised to see someone that didn't realize who she was, or didn't seem like it. Brows raised, she gave a soft laugh and shook her head. The braid her hair had previously been in was coming loose. It could have been the small collision between the two of them, it could have been the wind. She didn't so much care, as long as it wasn't a bother to her in that moment. "No, I'm quite alright," she dismissed, not one to take much from anyone these days. There was enough taking going on; it'd be better if she were giving all that she had.
Aubree looked at her and sighed understanding because a lot of people didn't trust her remedies. "My name is Aubree what is yours?" She asked sweetly trying to make conversation and get to know the person she bumped into. She didn't know much about the Princep at all because she wasn't really taught about her.
"Leonora," she replied, seeing the girl's disappointment. She doubted there was anything wrong with the remedies; though, from the look of the girl, she supposed it was all a matter of her training and wanting to see how she'd progressed. But she didn't really have the energy to humor the girl right now.
"So nice to meet you. I don't think I've ever seen you around before." she said not recalling ever seeing Leonora before. She stood there for a moment and decided to ask,"What brings you here on this beautiful day?"
Leo snorted. Not seen her around? It was true that she needed to get out more. Especially since she was sure her eyes were becoming far too adjusted to the dimly lit rooms she took residence in. She'd begun to feel a prisoner in her own home, which was part of what prompted this walk. "I just needed to get out," she responded, "And you?"
"I'm just out here adventuring off like I normally do to see what I can find. I found one thing while walking here and it's amazing." She said looking at Leonora with a smile as she reached into her dress pocket for a beautiful necklace.

Leo's brows rose at the sight of the red jeweled necklace. How did one find that simply laying around a lake? It must have been an enchanted item left for the unsuspecting person to pick it up and activate whatever lay in the stones. "Hmm," she hummed, eyeing the piece from a distance, "How lucky you are. Do you usually find necklaces that look so expensive and well made like that?"
Aubree looked at the other woman and smiled while listening to her part of the conversation. "I never find stuff like this but I can be honest in saying that this is definitely something exciting. It's stunning and I know it must be a good idea to keep it safe." She said in response.
